About Featured Venue placements

A Featured Venue placement is an optional paid promotional position within PTT Football. It provides additional visibility for an eligible venue in connection with a selected club and supporter category.

A Featured placement is separate from the venue's normal PTT listing. Standard venue listings remain free.

Eligibility & verification

All Featured placements are subject to PTT verification and the relevant Featured position being available.

PTT may decline, delay or refuse a placement where the venue cannot reasonably be verified, is not considered suitable for the requested supporter category, or the relevant position is unavailable.

Supporter classification remains independent

Paying for a Featured placement does not determine or change whether a venue is classified by PTT as Home, Away, Mixed, Town Centre or otherwise.

Supporter suitability is based on the information reasonably available to PTT and may be reviewed where circumstances change.

Promoted labelling

Featured placements are commercial placements and will be identified within PTT as promoted, featured or by another clear commercial label.

The customer must not describe a Featured placement as official club approval, endorsement or supporter accreditation unless that statement is independently true and authorised.

Placement & product presentation

Featured venues may appear in relevant parts of the PTT experience, including club, venue-discovery and matchday-planning areas.

PTT may update page layouts, wording, navigation, device presentation or the precise location of a Featured placement as the product develops, provided the paid placement continues to receive the relevant promoted visibility within the applicable PTT experience.

Fees & billing

Featured Venue fees are charged at the monthly rate agreed when the placement is activated. The selected package and payment arrangements will be confirmed with the customer.

If a payment fails or remains overdue, PTT may suspend the Featured placement until payment is brought up to date.

Founding Venue rates

Current Founding Venue pricing is £25 per month for Featured Home, £25 per month for Featured Away, and £40 per month for Featured Home + Away.

The agreed Founding Venue rate is protected for the first 12 months of a continuously active placement. After that period, PTT may change the rate by giving reasonable advance notice before the new rate takes effect.

No performance guarantee

A Featured placement does not guarantee impressions, clicks, bookings, enquiries, customers, admission, sales or supporter footfall.

Matchday demand varies by fixture, competition, kick-off time, travel conditions, supporter behaviour and other factors outside PTT's control.

Venue admission & operational control

The venue remains responsible for its own admission rules, capacity, licensing conditions, supporter-colour policy, staffing, security, opening hours and fixture-specific operating decisions.

A Featured placement is not a guarantee that any individual supporter will be admitted.

Customer information must be accurate

The customer must provide accurate information about the venue and promptly tell PTT about material changes that could affect the Featured placement or supporter suitability.

This includes changes to venue name, ownership, supporter admission, opening arrangements, closure, refurbishment or fixture-specific policy.

Names, logos & supplied material

Where the customer supplies a venue name, logo, photograph, description or other material for use in a Featured placement, the customer confirms that it is entitled to provide that material for this purpose.

The customer grants PTT permission to use that material for the operation and promotion of the agreed Featured placement while it remains active.

Changes to venue classification or suitability

PTT may amend a venue's supporter classification where new information indicates that the existing classification is no longer appropriate.

Where that change means the purchased Featured category is no longer suitable, PTT will discuss an appropriate alternative placement where one is available. If no suitable alternative can be provided, the affected Featured placement may be ended.

Suspension or removal

PTT may suspend or remove a Featured placement where reasonably necessary because of unpaid fees, inaccurate or misleading information, a material change in venue suitability, a legal or safety concern, closure of the venue, misuse of PTT branding, or a material breach of these terms.

Where practical, PTT will contact the customer before or promptly after taking that action.

Cancellation

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, Featured Venue placements operate on a monthly rolling basis.

A customer may cancel before the next billing date and the placement will remain active until the end of the period already paid for. Fees already paid for a current billing period are not normally refunded, except where required by law or where PTT cannot provide the paid placement for reasons within PTT's control.

PTT cancellation

PTT may end a Featured Venue arrangement by giving reasonable notice. Where PTT ends a prepaid placement for reasons unrelated to customer breach, PTT will refund any clearly unused prepaid portion of that placement.

Relationship with general PTT terms

These Featured Venue Advertising Terms apply in addition to the general PTT Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

If there is a conflict about a specific Featured Venue commercial arrangement, these Featured Venue Advertising Terms take priority for that commercial placement.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

Subject to that, PTT is not responsible for indirect or consequential commercial losses arising from expected footfall, expected sales, supporter behaviour, fixture changes, venue admission decisions or other matters outside PTT's reasonable control.

Changes to these terms

PTT may update these Featured Venue Advertising Terms as the service, commercial model or legal requirements change.

The latest version will be published on this page. Material changes affecting an active paid placement will be communicated reasonably in advance where appropriate.

Governing law

These Featured Venue Advertising Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
