Commercial terms

Terms applying to Featured Home and Featured Away placements.

These terms supplement any written order, invoice or agreed campaign details supplied by Planes Trains and Terraces (PTT) Limited.

01

Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to any business purchasing a featured venue, promoted venue or equivalent commercial placement through PTT Football.

The customer entering the arrangement confirms that it has authority to purchase the placement on behalf of the venue or business concerned.

02

Featured Home & Featured Away

A Featured Home placement is intended to promote a venue in relevant home-supporter or home-club matchday contexts.

A Featured Away placement is intended to promote a venue in relevant away-supporter or visiting-supporter matchday contexts.

The exact placement surfaces may include club pages, pub discovery pages, matchday-planning pages or other relevant PTT surfaces.

03

Campaign scope

The commercial agreement will identify the relevant venue, club, fixture context, area, placement type, campaign period or other agreed scope.

PTT may adjust presentation or layout as the product evolves, provided the commercial nature and general intended prominence of the placement remain materially consistent with the agreement.

04

Start & end dates

Featured placements run for the period stated in the agreed order, invoice or written confirmation.

PTT is not responsible for delays caused by the customer failing to provide required venue details, approvals, images, logos or payment.

05

Price, VAT & payment

Prices are those agreed in writing between PTT and the customer. VAT will be added where legally applicable.

Payment is due in accordance with the invoice or payment terms provided by PTT. PTT may delay or suspend a placement where payment has not been received when due.

06

Cancellations & refunds

Cancellation rights, if any, are those stated in the agreed order, invoice or written campaign confirmation.

Where a campaign has already started, PTT may reasonably deduct the value of advertising already delivered before determining whether any refund is due.

07

No guaranteed results

Featured placement is advertising visibility, not a guarantee of business performance.

PTT does not guarantee a minimum number of impressions, clicks, enquiries, bookings, customers, admissions, sales or footfall unless a separate written guarantee is expressly agreed.

08

Venue information must be accurate

The customer is responsible for ensuring that venue name, address, opening information, supporter policy, contact details and any other information supplied for the placement are accurate and current.

The customer should notify PTT promptly of material changes, including closure, change of ownership, revised supporter policy or changes that could make the placement misleading.

09

Supporter admission & licensing

The venue remains solely responsible for admission decisions, capacity, licensing compliance, age restrictions, security, supporter conduct rules and any fixture-specific entry policy.

A Featured Home or Featured Away label does not guarantee that any supporter will be admitted.

10

Artwork, logos & images

Where the customer supplies a logo, photograph, artwork or other material, it confirms that PTT has permission to use that material for the agreed campaign.

The customer must not provide material that infringes third-party rights, is unlawful, misleading or unsuitable for publication.

11

Display may vary

The exact visual appearance of a placement may vary by device, screen size, platform, app version or future PTT product update.

PTT may make reasonable design changes to maintain product quality, accessibility, technical compatibility or platform consistency.

12

Removal or suspension

PTT may remove, suspend or refuse a featured placement where it reasonably believes the venue information is misleading, the venue has closed, the placement creates a safety or reputational concern, payment is overdue, or continued publication could expose PTT or users to material risk.

Where reasonably possible, PTT will contact the customer before or promptly after taking such action.

13

Independence from clubs & leagues

Purchasing a featured venue placement does not create an official endorsement by any football club, league, competition, police force, supporter organisation or governing body.

PTT will not present a commercial venue as officially endorsed unless that relationship genuinely exists and is clearly stated.

14

Analytics & reporting

Where available, PTT may provide campaign-level or aggregated reporting such as views, interactions or other performance information.

Reporting methodology may evolve as PTT develops. Unless separately agreed in writing, analytics are provided for commercial insight and are not guaranteed audited advertising metrics.

15

Privacy & data

PTT does not provide featured venue customers with identifiable personal supporter profiles.

Any aggregated or anonymised insight shared commercially will be handled in line with PTT's Privacy Policy.

16

Customer responsibilities

The customer remains responsible for complying with advertising, licensing, consumer, employment, health and safety and other laws applying to its own business.

PTT's acceptance of a placement does not amount to legal approval of the customer's business or operating practices.

17

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Subject to that, PTT is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, missed trading opportunities, venue admission decisions, fixture changes or customer losses arising from matters outside PTT's reasonable control.

18

Changes to these terms

PTT may update these terms as the product, commercial model or legal requirements change.

Changes will not retrospectively alter an already agreed paid campaign unless required by law or agreed with the customer.

19

Complaints & queries

Commercial queries or complaints should be sent to partners@pttfootball.com or raised by telephone using the contact details below.

PTT will aim to review commercial issues reasonably and in good faith.

20

Governing law

These Featured Venue Advertising Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute will be subject to the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
